I was born in 1975 in Rome, where I’m still living.I’m been working in libraries in 1999, initially as a cataloger, and then also in management tasks.

I’m interested in new technologies, in particular in the WWW environment, for libraries and for electronic publishing.

I’m working in CINECA (before was CILEA) since June 2006. CINECA is a non-profit consortium of Italian universities and it provides innovative solutions for electronic publishing and digital libraries, employing open-source and OAI-PMH-compliant software.

I am managing editor of JLIS.it, Italian Journal of Library and Information Science and I am member of the AIB Studi Scientific committee.

I’m also teacher in courses about electronic publishing and library automation.
